The pool was a nice place to unwind after exploring Uluwatu, and the quiet setting makes it a good option if you want somewhere peaceful away from the busy tourist areas. You’ll need transport to get to beaches and restaurants, but that makes sense for the location and price. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained. My bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked very well, and the room quality was better than I expected for what I paid. Housekeeping was consistent and the property felt impressively clean overall. The staff were friendly and ready to help with requests. The Tempekan Nyang-Nyang Uluwatu offers very good value, especially for a comfortable stay with good service on a budget.

We only stayed one night, thank goodness. The staff were cordial, but that was the only positive. The photos are very far from what we found, and there’s no tea or coffee. Where’s the cooking facility? The bathrooms are large, but awful. There was no soap in the dispenser by the sink, even after we asked several times, and nobody followed up. The bath towels were more like doormats. This place needs a lot of work to be maintained properly.

The hotel is less than 5 min from Nyang Nyang beach and the temple, and 15 min from the Hatch area. Wifi dropped out now and then, and there was no soap or body wash in the toilet, but we could manage. Those things could still be improved. This was my first Bali trip, and we picked the hotel because the price was reasonable. I’d seen some bad comments before arriving, but our stay didn’t match what some of them described. Check-in was easy and there was no deposit. We rented a motorbike for 200,000 IDR for 4 days and 3 nights, which was affordable and convenient for getting around. We were meant to return it on our last night, but asked to use it the next morning to grab breakfast before our flight. The staff were fine with that and told us to keep the key and bring it back when we were done, with no extra charge. A small thing, but it showed how kind and flexible they were. The crew were polite and attentive to our requests. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nice and cool, with a spacious toilet. You can’t expect 5-star luxury from a 4-star hotel, but for the price the comfort and experience were more than enough. I had no complaints and was fully satisfied. I’d love to stay here again on my next trip to Bali.

We had a very disappointing stay. The property is old and poorly kept, and it looks nothing like the photos. Food quality was low, and service took a long time every day. The water supply didn’t work properly, which was a real inconvenience. There were lizards and insects throughout the place, making it uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
