Renovation noise started right beside my room at 7AM on Sunday, with loud drilling and hammering that made rest impossible. When I told the staff, they neither apologized nor tried to fix anything. The staff were rude and unhelpful from the beginning, which made the whole stay miserable. Hotels should care about guests’ comfort, especially on weekend mornings. Very disappointing. I wouldn’t trust the reviews, you’ll regret staying here.

Ants were in the room and even the bed, housekeeping came only once a week, and a nearby bar added more noise. On top of that, construction started directly below my room at 8 AM every day after one decent day, with drilling and hammering until evening. There was no warning. I had to go to reception daily to ask when it would stop so I could use my room. On the third day they sent a “construction notice,” which didn’t help much. Staff just kept saying “sorry” without seeming to care. If paying for a room you can’t stay in sounds good, this is the place.

The back room looked out onto bamboo, and we spotted a few monkeys too. The hotel has a Santorini-style design and a decent-sized pool. It’s tucked into one of the small alleys off the main Uluwatu street, but getting there by bike was easy. I’d happily stay again.

Our room was really clean and comfortable, and the pool area was lovely. Staff were helpful when we arrived, and the hotel offers extra services and activities. We found it to be one of the cheapest places around in such a convenient location, so it was great value.

The bed and location were good, and that was about it. There was no fridge or kettle, no room cleaning, and we found cockroaches and ants in the bed. Construction noise started early every day. The staff never seemed to smile. I don’t recommend it.
