The villa was spacious, with a lovely view, and its pool was the best we had in Bali. The water didn’t smell, the beds were comfortable, the Wi-Fi was very good, and the rooms were cleaned daily. The staff were nice, helpful, and hardworking. We stayed in a very large two-bedroom villa, but some of the space felt unused. The furniture and equipment were old and quite worn. Reaching the villa meant climbing steep stairs with lots of worm centipedes. There were two bedrooms upstairs but only one bathroom for both.

What impressed me most was the ocean view. We booked a two-bedroom villa, but what we got was essentially three separate villas: one for the second bedroom, a huge living area, and another for the master bedroom. There was also a private pool. The villa was amazing, and we really enjoyed our stay.

The staff were amazing and went above and beyond, and we really enjoyed our five days. The gardens, decorative details, and little fish in the moats were lovely. Our spacious place had a massive, always-warm pool that was great for swimming. The location is remote from restaurants and cafes, so you’ll rely on room service, which was hit and miss. Breakfast was cooked fresh in our villa each morning, but the other meals didn’t seem freshly made, and I suspect most came from a box or were frozen. The menu also had no cocktails, alcohol, or even soft drinks. Aside from the menu, everything else was excellent.

The spa sits at the top of the property, with a beautiful sunset view and the wind in your ears while you’re being pampered. I nearly fell asleep during the Balinese massage and body scrub, it was that good. Breakfast was delicious, with different options prepared each morning in the villa kitchen by the lovely staff. Canang Sari Villas is a peaceful spot tucked away from the busy roads, with sunshine and beautiful views. The villas are huge, more than enough room for a couple, family, or group of friends. The private pools are gorgeous and refreshing, and the staff are friendly and always nearby if you need them. Paradise, 10/10. Highly recommend!

There’s lots of room in this enormous villa, which works well for a big family, and the price seems fair for its size. The stay was nice overall, but maintenance and cleaning need attention. Pool tiles were missing, the sun umbrellas were broken, and the wood floor beside the pool was damaged. I hurt a toe on it once. The shower hose was held on with a rubber band, and the sinks leaked. Pillows, sheets, towels, and covers were stained, with dust on the shelves and toilet.
