The location is really convenient and easy to get around from. Cleanliness is a different story, though. The place was so dirty that I didn’t want to touch anything.

The pool and garden make a cozy spot to relax, and the rooms are clean and put together well for a very fair price. Reception always has someone around to help, with a security guard on duty at night too. It’s well placed for Bingin and Uluwatu. There’s a club nearby, but it stops playing at 11pm and the room keeps the sound out well. I’d definitely suggest it if you want your own space.

It’s on a busy main road with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, and the location is brilliant. The AC worked well, and the bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. Rooms can be cleaned if you ask, though it seemed to be a bit of a reluctant service. We hired a moped for 100k a day, but the bike wasn’t good quality. The big issue was the noise from the bar next door. Music played until midnight, loudly enough to Shazam the songs and shake the room. That wasn’t Devata Giri’s fault, but it made it very hard to relax, and I doubt a different room would have helped. It might suit people who plan to be out late every night. The bathroom was filthy, with ants and cockroaches. A monkey also came into the room after we left the door open, so watch out for food. We wouldn’t recommend staying here unless there’s nowhere else, or you only need somewhere to crash late at night.

The rooms are basic, but clean, and the pool courtyard was lovely and looked well cared for. It’s only a few minutes from shops and restaurants, and about a five-minute drive to the beaches. The bar next door does play loud music until midnight, though it didn’t bother us too much.
