There was plenty of room for our family group of 11 adults, so we could spread out. The location was good for walking to beaches and restaurants, and staff were very helpful. We used WhatsApp to communicate with the villa staff, which made things easy. Torrential rain caused one bedroom to flood. Staff came to deal with it the next day and were helpful in moving the affected guests to another villa for the night. Made and the rest of the team were efficient whenever we asked for something, from arranging a private chef dinner at the villa to hiring scooters.

Ardo, the host, was very helpful and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The facilities were great, the beds really comfortable, and the location worked perfectly for everything we needed.

Cashew Tree restaurant, the local go-to, is about a five minute walk away. The place has a fantastic setup, with a big pool, outdoor area, and a pool table in the lounge.

The villa and pool were cleaned daily, and it looked just like the photos. Staff were amazing and did everything they could for us. When one of our guests had an accident, they brought a first aid kit within 10 minutes and took us to the clinic. Cashew Tree restaurant is just around the corner and serves great food. The villa’s a little outside the Main Street, but you can hire a moped through them. Gojek and grab taxis were cheap and always available. We’ll definitely come back. Thank you!

The hosts offered us compensation, but it was never paid. We complained several times during the week about the gym next door, and the staff, who were certainly sympathetic, said they didn’t know where the noise was coming from. We weren’t the first guests to raise it. There’s nothing to fault about the villa itself, but don’t book if you’re hoping to relax. The gym is extremely loud from 7am, with music going until 11am, so sleeping in was impossible. None of this was mentioned in the listing.
