The pool and outdoor area were lovely, with comfortable loungers, and the villa itself is spacious, modern, and beautifully put together. The bedrooms stayed cool with strong air-conditioning, and the showers were roomy with retractable hoses. It was also quiet, away from Uluwatu's bustle, though the location is somewhat out of the way and transport bookings sometimes got cancelled. The service problems took away from the stay. There's no reception desk to ask for help, and we had intermittent Wi-Fi and phone reception. One morning the water stopped completely. We called and messaged the hostess, Koming, several times between 7:00-7:30am, during her listed availability, but got no reply until 8:00pm, more than 12 hours later. She also left my follow-up about luggage storage after checkout on 'seen' without answering, which felt incredibly rude. Ajus and the other man working there were much more polite and helpful. The villas also have no safe for valuables, unlike other places we've stayed. It's a shame, because the villa is beautiful and we still had a really lovely stay. But the lack of reception, Koming's communication, and the water, Wi-Fi, and phone issues did affect our experience.

The welcoming staff made Kanchana Cittage feel like home to me, and I left feeling like I'd left a piece of my heart there. It's a real hidden gem in Pecatu, with a gorgeous pool and a breathtaking garden. I can't recommend it enough.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the air-conditioning worked brilliantly. The villas are lovely, with really nice staff and a very quiet setting where you can unwind by the pools away from the bustle outside. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and it's well placed for getting to several beaches. I'd recommend it 10/10!

I stayed a whole month at Kanchana Cottages, and the place really felt like home even though I was far away. Komang, Surya, Dandi, and the owner were warm, kind, always smiling, and so attentive. They made me feel part of a family, not just like a guest. The garden was the most beautiful I've ever seen, full of flowers and greenery, with a peaceful, almost magical feel. The pool was always clean and lovely for relaxing, and the whole place felt calm and harmonious. Everything seemed cared for, from the spotless rooms to the elegant, authentic design. The sweet dogs in the yard made my mornings brighter every day. They were gentle and playful, and brought so much joy to the place. I wholeheartedly recommend Kanchana Cottages if you're coming to Uluwatu. It was one of the best experiences of my life. ❤️
