If you're looking for somewhere peaceful and away from the crowds, LUMBUNG WISESA is a good fit in the Uluwatu area of Bali. When I visited in October 2019 there were three villas, with two more being added. You can rent a motorbike and explore the beaches around Uluwatu. There are no TVs, but the calm atmosphere made the place feel like home. Mr. Wayan was always available to help and asked what we'd like for breakfast. When we arrived, we got a welcome drink in the scorching heat. His homemade pancakes are delicious and worth trying. I'd stay here again if I return to Bali.
