Sunrise Cottage

We had a fantastic stay at this special little boutique hotel. It’s right by the sea, with a superb location, and the service was excellent. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast overlooking the water. Thank you!

I stayed three nights in a deluxe room with an ocean view. It was clean and everything worked. The location is great, right by the water, with stairs down to it, though some steps are broken and the stairs need maintenance. They can get slippery. There’s some nighttime noise from the location, but it’s manageable. There are lots of nearby restaurants. I had dinner here and didn’t like the Pad Thai, which had no flavor and soggy tofu. Breakfast was pretty good, especially the pancakes and eggs Benedict. Service was decent. The manager was great, but the girls helping out spent the day in air-conditioned rooms, so you had to go find them when you needed something. I hadn’t known you could arrange transport to the harbor through the hotel. I’d recommend it, since harbor taxis cost over 300K. Nyuh Harbour is about a 15-minute ride away. I enjoyed my stay, but the place has potential and doesn’t seem to put in that extra effort.

The staff were sweet and helpful, and our stay included a nice light breakfast. There are some great restaurants within walking distance, including NAU down the road, which you should try. Our room got a few small leaks during heavy rain, though it didn’t affect our stay. At night, the busy road and nearby businesses made it noisy, but no more than other hotels. This little spot is in an incredible location, with spectacular views from the pool and deck.

We booked a snorkeling trip through the hotel, and the price was fair. Everything was arranged perfectly, and we had a great time. We spent a couple of nights here and felt welcome the whole stay. The staff were helpful and patient with all our questions. The place is right by the water, with sunbathing chairs and a very chill feel. Our room was neat and clean, and the bathtub was a bonus.
