Sal Secret Spot

I loved how the staff learned every guest's name by heart. They were friendly and attentive, and that small touch made the place feel so welcoming. The room was great and stocked with essentials, including a beach bag and sarong to use during the stay. The hotel is intimate and close to many Uluwatu hotspots. I came in rainy season, so using the outdoor-style bathroom was a little unconventional, but I still got in the pool during a rainstorm. Thanks to the amazing staff for making my stay at Sal Secret Spot!

Those pancakes were the best! What really stood out at Sal Secret Spot was the team's friendly, happy, genuinely caring attitude. The owner is closely involved with the staff, and it gives the place such a joyful atmosphere. From the first day we were greeted so warmly and personally, and being welcomed by name each day made us feel at home. The setting is intimate and private, and everything was perfectly clean. The service was the real five-star part for me. I think the guy was the duty manager, though I wish I'd got his name. He was an absolute rockstar and kept checking in because he knew I was traveling solo, making sure everything was going well. The pool area and decor give this charming little boutique hotel its character, and it's a peaceful oasis. Just know Uluwatu is spread out, unlike Seminyak or Legian, so be ready for some walking or lots of bike taxis. I highly recommend Sal Secret.

The people are what made us feel so at home. Everyone on staff was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. Thanks especially to Nila, Sudira, Wanda, Alit, and everyone else. We had an incredible time in this wonderful hotel, and I'd come back a thousand times. The pool was amazing, the atmosphere deeply relaxing, and the breakfast was the best in Uluwatu.
