Radiant Jepun Villa

Mr. Adi, the villa manager, was very friendly and attentive to guests. Breakfast arrived hot each morning in the open ground-floor living room, though it was exactly the same food every day. The gated grounds have a lovely feel, with straw roofs, teak beams, and lots of plants. The property looks picturesque, but it’s more than 30 years old and hasn’t been maintained well. Bathroom fittings are rusty, sinks drain slowly, handles don’t work, the air conditioning is unreliable, and the ceiling lights are dim. Termites leave sawdust each morning after eating into the all-wood construction. Although each of the five villas has a kitchen, there are too few basic utensils for it to be useful. It’s on a narrow, winding road beside the river, with no sidewalks, so walking to restaurants and shops nearby is difficult. At these rates, I’d choose the Fairfield Marriott across the river instead, for a similar price.

My partner and I planned to stay for 7 days, then decided to extend for another 7. The villa feels cozy and like home. When we arrived, BLI ADI greeted us warmly. He’s very nice and humble, and the hospitality was a 10/10. They also offer motorbike rentals. We really appreciate it and will come back for our next family trip.

The location worked well for us, away from the big crowds but still close enough to walk or take a scooter to the main spots. We loved staying here. Our host was so friendly when we arrived, the rooms were immaculate whenever we got back, and even though it’s a shared complex, it felt very private.

We could hear loud motorbikes passing from inside the room, since it wasn’t very soundproof. Aside from that, the Radiant Jepun Villa was a relaxing, nice place to stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, and it was about a 10-minute walk from the busy area and places to eat.
