The owner was rude and unhelpful when I raised the problems I’d run into. There was no hot water during my stay, and at times no water at all. I also wasn’t given any towels, and the hostel was extremely dirty, with rooms and shared areas that didn’t seem to get cleaned regularly. I hope these issues are fixed for future guests. This was a very disappointing stay, and I can’t recommend it unless significant improvements are made.

The air conditioning was good, and the building seems to have a lot of potential. But on arrival there was nobody here to let us in. We were given one towel for two people and are still waiting for another, and there were no bed sheets when we arrived, with those still to come too. Water keeps running out and takes a while to refill. The room hadn’t been cleaned either: there’s hair in the shower drain and used tissue in the wardrobe. The lack of commitment really lets the place down.

The view from outside the room was the only bright spot. At this quality, the price should be under 100,000IDR, but it’s above 250,000IDR. There’s no WiFi and the mobile signal is poor, plus they charge extra offline just for the air conditioner. The bathroom smells, has no hot water or light, and the toilet has no seat. The blanket reeks of animal sweat, like it hasn’t been washed. The walls are unpainted, and you can hear your neighbor playing on their phone. At night the place feels creepy. I wouldn’t give anyone such an unhealthy room.

I picked the wrong dates for my visit and tried to sort out a change, but couldn’t reach you by phone since there’s no number listed. I also sent a message through Booking and never got a reply.
