The Asa Maia

For the first four nights of our Bali trip, my friend and I stayed at the Asa Maia. They collected us from the airport, and the resort looked stunning when we arrived. The team’s care and attention to our needs were impeccable, unlike anywhere I’ve stayed before. The grounds were beautiful, and the location made it easy to walk to town, beaches, restaurants, and shops. They offered a traditional Balinese dinner, and we enjoyed great massages, meals, and food throughout our stay. The menu was flexible for different dietary restrictions. We had the best time and would absolutely stay again.

The staff were among the kindest, brightest people we’ve met, and Sumba was part of the team. They kept checking what we needed and fulfilled every wish right away, going above and beyond to make us comfortable. That care made our stay unforgettable. Before we arrived, the hotel kindly warned us about nearby construction and offered the option to change our stay. We appreciated that. We’d been concerned about noise, but it wasn’t a problem at all. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, and we loved the treatment room and yoga room at the top, where we took wonderful meditation and yoga classes and had massages. The hotel has all the amenities we needed, including a great gym, plus a sauna and hot and cold therapy baths. Its location is private and quiet, yet close to beaches and main roads. There’s nothing we’d change. We’re grateful we got to stay and hope to return soon. Terima Kasih. (ps: we miss you already sumba :))

The food was delicious, healthy, and nourishing, made with clean ingredients. I also had a spa treatment that was amazing and exceeded my expectations. The staff were polite and very helpful, and the place itself is beautiful and comfortable, giving you the full Bali experience. I’m looking forward to staying again.

Yoga and contrast therapy with Daniele were amazing, and my private breath-work session with Alex had a profound impact on me. I had an incredible stay at The Asa Maia Wellness Resort in Uluwatu. The accommodation felt authentic while being exceptionally comfortable, and the food was nutritious and delicious. Service was outstanding throughout. It’s a wonderful place to recharge and relax in a safe, comfortable, luxurious setting. Highly recommended.
