The staff at The Tempekan were so warm, kind, and genuinely helpful. They made the stay feel special, and the breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of good options each morning. We also rented a motorbike from them at a very good price, which made it easy to explore the area. I spent 4 days there after traveling around Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Bali, Singapore, and the Philippines. Honestly, it was the best hotel I’d stayed in. Everything made the visit unforgettable. I’d absolutely recommend The Tempekan and will stay again when I return. Tempekan ❤️

There were lots of monkeys around, and the pool was a nice place to relax. We had a great time, with a lovely restaurant and great staff on site. The rooms are small but cozy, so they’re best for couples or solo travelers.

It was such a peaceful stay, with a clean, comfortable room and really friendly people all around. The food was great, and the beach clubs and sights were close by.

The restaurant had a good range of tasty local dishes, fruit bowls, salads, and pizzas, all at reasonable prices. The villas especially felt like great value, with spacious rooms, an outdoor kitchen, and a pool. Our stay had a few hiccups, but the manager made an effort to make things right, and I appreciated how they handled the recovery. It was easy to reach them on WhatsApp, and staff replied quickly.

The service was truly great, and the food and drinks were very good. The outdoor spaces were beautiful too, with an idyllic, thoughtfully designed feel. Still, we left early. Our room had an unbearable chemical odor. I’m not sure if it was from mold or something used to deal with ants. Worse, we found bedbugs all over the bed, including eggs. Staff first offered to clean everything, but we asked for another room. After talking it over, my partner and I no longer felt comfortable staying there.
