Being surrounded by nature in this resort, which is part of West Bali National Park, was an amazing feeling. We stayed in a beautiful beach villa. Monkeys tried to get our snacks, but they’re cute and shy rather than aggressive, and we are in their home after all. The staff were exceptional and the service was excellent. I only wished the food suited my Indonesian taste more, since it was adjusted more to Western tastes. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful place, very peaceful and like the authentic Bali I used to know.

We left with lovely memories and are already looking forward to coming back. The peaceful setting in beautiful West Bali National Park was a welcome break from daily life. Waking up to fresh air, nature sounds and breathtaking scenery made the stay memorable, and every detail seemed thoughtfully prepared so we could relax. The staff were warm, attentive and ready to help, always with sincere smiles. Their care and hospitality exceeded our expectations and made the experience feel personal. It’s rare to find such beautiful surroundings paired with heartfelt service. Thank you, Mr. Gelgel and the entire The Menjangan team. Please pass our appreciation to everyone who helped make yesterday’s stay so special.

The spa by the beach was wonderfully relaxing, and having the jetty so close to the villas made diving easier than ever. My clean, spacious room had a lovely natural look. Set in the jungle, the place is great for horse riding and light tropical trekking, which I did with professional, friendly guides. The food is geared toward a healthier taste, a breath of fresh air in Indonesia. That long drive from DPS to my beach villa was worth it. I only wish I’d stayed longer, a week felt too short.

We had two kids with us, a tween and a teen, and there was plenty to do: snorkelling, horse riding, kayaking and a cooking class. The Menjangan is tucked away in Menjangan National Park, which has beautiful, varied scenery from sea to forest. There are also ways to relax, including the spa, beachfront and hot spring. We highly recommend it.

Deer families coming down to the beach each morning and evening were one of the most magical parts of our stay. The huge, luxurious beach bungalows offer great privacy, and the nature and peaceful atmosphere are stunning. The staff and managers handled everything right away and with care, and the food was delicious. I loved the ocean-view spa too. The only downside for me was a male monkey who seemed aggressive and tried several times to get into the bungalow. I stayed in January 2026, and it was a beautiful, unforgettable visit. Highly recommend.
