Online bookings are a gamble because the photos don’t match the actual room, and the price shown in the app isn’t accurate. It may be better to show up in person. Lodging companies shouldn’t advertise on Agoda or Traveloka if they won’t accept those rates and expect guests to pay offline. In my view, once a price is agreed through the app, that’s the provider’s responsibility, not the customer’s. If there’s an issue with the app or website, the inn is responsible for fixing its system promptly.

I only meant to stop by, but the experience was unpleasant. The AC kept switching on and off and never got very cold, even though the price was over 200k. My initial booking through the app wasn’t accepted, and they said I had to book offline. The offline and online prices were quite different, and I couldn’t cancel because of the app’s policy.
