There’s plenty of parking, and although the hotel isn’t on the main road, the access is wide and easy to find. The lobby is reasonably clean, but the place feels old. The room was fairly clean too, with older furniture. Getting to the room could use more lighting, and the bathroom needs freshening up. The shower should be repaired or replaced. The AC does get cold, though it takes extra time for the temperature to become comfortable.

It’s a comfortable hotel, with a few shops and places to eat nearby.

We’ve stayed here three times now. The rooms are really comfortable, and this has become one of our favorite hotels.

The pool is a nice option for families, with shallow water where kids can swim safely. Our room supplies were disappointing: there was just one bar of soap, and the liquid soap and shampoo dispenser stayed empty the whole time. We were also charged to borrow cutlery for the room, which was surprising since we haven’t run into that elsewhere. Angkasa Garden Hotel works for families looking for a kid-friendly pool, though the room amenities and swimming experience left us wanting more.

Waiting an hour to check in, whatever the staff's explanation, is a frustrating way to start a stay. It seemed to me that management was cutting staffing costs, and that lack of manpower affected check-in. If saving money means guests wait that long, I think it can damage the hotel's reputation and business. The lobby was very hot because its AC was broken, and termites had infested the wooden wall structure. Sad to see a good hotel end up this way.
