The place was also very dirty, the staff were unfriendly, and nobody offered a solution. I’ve blacklisted the homestay and won’t return. I wouldn’t stay here unless you want to regret it. This was the first time I’d ever been denied check-in, and apparently others have had the same experience too. After I arrived and checked in, they said they weren’t taking app bookings anymore. I asked about the room and found it was empty, but they still refused the booking and told me to cancel in the app. By then cancellation wasn’t possible, so I couldn’t get a refund. They gave several excuses, including that OYO/the app wasn’t paying them and that there were no rooms, even though the listing was still up. How can they reject app bookings when rooms are available? This isn’t the first time it’s happened, and there have been many people affected.
