There was plenty of room in the bedroom, and the mattress and pillows were really comfortable. The furniture needs better care, though. The bedside shelf was crooked, and the refrigerator cabinet door was awkward to open because it sat right against the floor. Inside, the cabinet lining had also come loose. The egg station service could use some improvement. I know it gets very busy, but a small smile wouldn't hurt.

The staff said the rooms had been renovated. Some parts still felt old, but there were modern touches around the place. The service was great, and the concierge responded to what we needed very quickly. It's in a prime location. The Wi-Fi kept dropping out, though. The air conditioning took a while to cool the room, then it was fine after a few minutes. The elevator also felt a bit rough, perhaps because it's old.

I didn't stay at the hotel, so I can't really comment on it. I can say the restaurant food was all delicious, and the service was quick.

The location is very central in Pekanbaru, with coffee shops, restaurants, a durian stall, and souvenir shops nearby. There's also a large restaurant, a big parking area, and access that works for people with disabilities. The hotel has a strict no-durian rule. It seems like an older establishment, but my room was well maintained. It was spacious, with a comfortable mattress and pillows, a good-sized bathroom, and good amenities. The place isn't fancy, but it's large and pleasant, and the carpet was clean. Breakfast was good, with Indonesian, Western, and Oriental options, though the selection was fairly modest. The pool is big and very good. There's also a gym with lots of equipment and a large studio for yoga and aerobics. It wasn't too crowded, which was nice.
