Tripletree Majestiq Hotel

The ceilings were moldy and disgusting, and the room had no windows. I also couldn't sleep because loud music from the pub in the lobby played until midnight. I reported it to reception, but nothing was done. I can't understand how they run a hotel for people to sleep in with such a noisy pub. Not recommended at all.

What a rundown place, only suitable for the mentally challenged. There was no lift, and I was assigned a room on the fourth floor to climb to at midnight. The aircon had no remote, and the room phone's cable had been cut, so I had to go downstairs to get reception to sort it out. After insisting on a change, I got a room on the second floor, but it had a small twin bed and an aircon that screeched like an aircraft without cooling the room. There was no socket to charge my phone, and no toothbrush, soap, or tissues, just a towel.

The hotel has a pub on the first floor where you can drink, but there was a lot of smoke inside and I think the place needs an exhaust system. The photos on the OYO app were misleading, and there was a payment error, though I don't think the hotel was responsible. If booking through OYO, I'd recommend choosing pay later and paying directly.

My family and I have such sweet memories of this hotel. I hope I can visit again someday 🥰🥰🥰
