Karang Sari Hotel

I paid 1.2 m through Agoda for two nights in a Superior room, expecting the big window and large queen bed shown in the photo. Instead, I was given a dark, small room with twin beds and no window or ventilation. Very disappointing.

We had a room with a parking space right outside, which I liked, and Karang Sari Hotel is just across from the beach. The hotel has pools and dining rooms, with restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. Getting in and out takes a bit of care since the drive slopes up and down. Seems like a good spot for a short holiday.

There are rooms without windows, so ask the front desk before you book. The pool was clean, breakfast was good, and all the trees kept the hotel grounds from getting too hot. The atmosphere was nice. The bed could use an upgrade, though, since it was a little hard and too low.

We were moved from downstairs room 4B because the air conditioner wasn't working properly and there was no hot water. The walls had stains and ants, and the phones in both rooms didn't work. We stayed overnight in room 7B instead, which was spacious, clean, had a comfortable bed, hot water, and enough air conditioning to cool it down. It's an old, noisy hotel.
