Ananda Villas Bali

The hospitality team really works to make your holiday special, and the food is fresh and delicious. Ananda Villas offers a great value for an exceptional stay. It's a short hop from Pemuteran's fantastic beaches and diving, with gardens and surrounding mountains full of life. The traditional Balinese villas have clearly had a lot of care put into them, and the bathrooms are so lovely you could live in them. There's also a beautiful 25-meter pool, a separate gym and yoga space, and a lovely dining table for meals or afternoon snacks. A luxurious but relaxed place for a vacation or retreat. Don't miss Ananda Villas and Pemuteran if you can.

What sets this place apart is the people. They were sincere, eager to help, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Thanks to the owners for creating this little paradise in North Bali. We felt lucky to enjoy it. The villa sits in a lovely garden with stunning mountain views. A small path takes you to a pavilion with a shared lounge and kitchenette, beside a proper 25-meter lap pool. Further along are an exercise villa and a separate massage villa, where staff can arrange for a therapist to come to you. All of these facilities are complimentary. Near the exit, you can take a free buggy to Sea Esta, an extension of Adara Villas by the beach. You can relax on a sun lounger there or watch the sunset over an incredible meal at their Mediterranean restaurant. The photos don't do the place justice, it's even more beautiful in person.

Pemuteran is a sweet little beach town with a lovely beach and good restaurants, and this is a great place to stay during a visit to Bali. My husband and I have stayed at this lovely, magical Oasis a couple of times. First we had Cinnamon house, a beautiful Gladak that was incredibly comfortable and well appointed. On our second stay we chose Villa Vanilla, which was also very comfortable and luxurious. The grounds are beautiful, and the pool and pavilion are just right for a relaxing day with a book. The staff are warm and welcoming, the breakfasts were delicious, and the whole experience was the best of Bali. I highly recommend a stay here.

The gardens are spectacular, and in Bali, where so much of the experience is outdoors, that really matters. The accommodations are superb, better than anywhere else I've stayed in the diving haven of Pemuteran. A new villa on the beach is an easy walk away, or staff will drive you there. It gives guests spacious gardens as well as a beachfront location and cafe, right next to Pemuteran's best dive shop. The Villas have fast wi-fi, though I hope you can put it aside and relax.
