Suka Sari Cottages

The rooms are clean, the pool is nice, the staff are lovely, and the outdoor bathrooms are cool. We ordered massages to the room twice and enjoyed them. The location is great. Just bring earplugs. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything your neighbor says. Cockerels reliably woke us at 5am, and there’s a mosque right behind the property whose calls to prayer happen many times a day, including more than an hour nonstop on Friday night. There’s also a road at the back that you can hear.

The staff were so kind and helpful, I wish I could give them more than five stars 🤭. The rooms were spacious, really clean, and amazing, and it’s only about a three-minute walk to the beach for snorkeling. Such a nice place!

The breakfast was great, and the pool was lovely. We had a very good stay, helped along by staff who were incredibly kind. They even made breakfast 30 minutes before opening because we had an early trip. It’s close to the beach and good value compared with other places nearby. The open bathroom looks nice, though it’s not ideal when the weather is too hot. Also, they should drop the 3% card surcharge. I’d pay in advance through Booking instead.

The restaurant was a real highlight, with lots of choice and good value. The staff were fantastic, friendly, and attentive, and the gardens and relaxing pool made for a lovely setting. We stayed three nights at Suka Sari Cottages and would happily recommend it. Our private outdoor bathroom was a favorite, with modern facilities that still had an older cultural feel. It was surprisingly quiet despite being close to the main road. Pemuteran beach is literally a five-minute walk, and you can walk right into the water to snorkel over the Biorock coral project.
