Van Karning Bungalow

It's a family-run place with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was simple and nice, and the rooms were adequate. Cleaning could be better, but it was okay. The garden is beautiful and tranquil, and the location is central to everything in Pemuteran, with some great restaurants very close by. There wasn't water in the rooms, but free refills are available in the breakfast area. I wish they'd mentioned that at check-in, so we wouldn't have gone straight to a minimart.

The bathroom design is stylish and brilliant, and the hosts were very kind and helpful. Everything was extremely clean, from the nice pool to the beautifully arranged garden. I can only recommend this place, one of the best accommodation options in Bali at this price.

The kids loved having room to run and play on the soft green grass in the shaded garden, and the pool made it great for family activities. We're a large family, and this bungalow was perfect for a weekend getaway. My husband and his family stayed here in 2019, and Pak Wayan welcomed us again with such care and great service. We're very thankful to him and his family. The room was spacious, with a large bed, a big mirror, a decent wardrobe, and AC that worked perfectly. Each room has a spacious outdoor shower and toilet, which were very well looked after. Amenities included small disposable hotel soap bars, toilet paper, liquid soap, hot and cold shower, housekeeping, and a large free parking area, among other things. The property is about a 10-minute walk from a wonderfully calm beach. We made a morning routine of going there for a quick dip in the crystal-clear water. We made such wonderful memories and will come back again.

The garden is beautiful and very well cared for by the lovely ladies, and the outdoor bathrooms are stunning. Our rooms at Van Karning Bungalow were clean and spacious, and the value for the price was incredible. We loved our stay so much that we extended twice. We'd always come back 😊
