Ubud Hideaway

The welcome and service were amazing, and the breakfast was super. Towels and sheets were clean, and the bathroom was clean too, though it could use a little improvement. I booked only a day before arrival and paid less than 100K IDR a night for an air-conditioned room with breakfast. I thought I’d booked a female dorm with a shared bathroom, but maybe they upgraded me, since I got a nice room with a big bed and private hot shower. The place is easy enough to find on Google Maps, and there’s a sign at the entrance gate. Definitely coming back!

It’s a bit far from town, so sort out transport ahead of time. We still had a wonderful couples getaway here: the resort was quiet and relaxing, the pool was great, and the rooms were very clean and updated. The AC got cold and WiFi was fast. Each morning we had a huge Balinese breakfast by the pool. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and really went out of their way to make us feel at home. Thank you, Ubud Hideaway, for a wonderful stay!

The place itself and the stay were my best experience, though it’s isolated and far from ubud. Let the staff know well ahead if you’ll be arriving late. I was traveling alone and had an accident during my stay, so I called the hotel. One of the staff came to bring me back, cleaned my wounds, and treated them with medicine. They were genuinely friendly and helpful, and took very good care of me. The service felt every bit as good as what you’d get at a five star hotel.

A quiet, homely spot with only a few rooms, good if you want some me time. We arrived near dark and there were no other guests around, but the staff greeted us warmly. The room was spacious and clean, with good Javanese design and high-quality furniture. The internet was so slow that I wouldn’t recommend staying here for work. The staff know what they’re doing, especially Ibu Rani, who was amazing. I’d suggest the owner keep the garden and the standard room ceiling maintained. For a low budget stay with good service, I’d recommend it, and I’ll come back.
