Mahamustika River Side Canggu

I loved all the lovely scents around the hotel, from the face mists for guests to the shower gel and body cream. I liked them enough to buy some of the products. The whole place feels carefully designed and really aesthetic. The staff were attentive and quick to respond, and having reception open 24 hours made everything feel easy and comfortable. There was also complimentary access to Wrong Gym (Rite). I truly loved my stay, and highly recommend it.

The pool was my favorite in Canggu, calm and beautifully designed, with a nice spot to unwind and eat. We could walk to plenty of good shops, cafés, and restaurants from this very convenient location. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and put together with care. The property has a charming, stylish but laid-back feel that suits Canggu, and the staff were warm and welcoming. We had a lovely stay and I’d definitely come back.

The concierge team’s gentle, clear communication made us feel at ease right away. Nothing felt rushed or like a transaction, and we felt cared for without being overwhelmed. From the welcome fruit platter and handwritten notes to the arrangement of the rooms, even the sound and atmosphere on arrival, everything seemed considered. The contemporary design is beautiful and refined, but still has character and feels connected to Bali’s spirit. Materials, lighting, sound system, and ambience all fit together, making the place feel both luxurious and grounded. It’s contemporary Bali with soul. I couldn’t find anything that disappointed me. The experience exceeded my expectations in a quiet, consistent way. Further Hotel is my favourite place to stay in Canggu, and one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve experienced in Bali. A truly outstanding mix of design, hospitality, and atmosphere.

The rooms’ interiors and furnishings were the highlight for me: carefully curated and genuinely distinctive. Lighting, furniture, built-in speakers, even the wall colour all work together to make the space feel calm and cosy. I spent five nights at Further Hotel over New Year and loved my stay. The king rooms are above St Ali cafe at the Further Gallery location, which is a great and convenient spot. Breakfast was included each morning at the pool at Further Hotel up the road, and I had daily access to Wrong Gym down the road. That made for a perfect daily routine. I’d stay again when I’m back in Bali ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
