Bon Nyuh was a lovely experience, and the room was large and comfortable with drinking water provided. The staff were nice and accommodating, though cleanliness could have been better. The peaceful, relaxing location is also very rural, so shops and restaurants are a bit far away. Of the six hotels and guest houses we stayed at in Bali, this was the most expensive, but it lacked some basics: no toiletries or hand soap, no tea or coffee in the room, and no fruit at breakfast. We ate dinner at the bungalows twice. The food was nice enough, but portions were small and the price didn’t feel worthwhile, at three times what we paid at a local Warung. It was still a nice stay, but given what you can get in Bali for much less, the price didn’t match what we received.

I went for a walk through the paddy fields this morning and came across locals threshing rice by traditional methods. It was fascinating to watch. We’ve stayed here lots of times, and it’s always peaceful, with friendly staff, good food, and tranquil surroundings.

The bungalows are private and well maintained, and the surrounding paddy fields made for a great experience. It’s a decent place to get away from city traffic and noise. Food choices are limited, but we enjoyed our stay immensely.

I stayed here with my family, and my brother and I loved how cozy the place is. The food is GREAT, there’s a swimming pool, and the staff are very friendly. This place is so amazing, I already miss it. I recommend staying at least one night, and you’ll love it too.
