The hosts were the best part of our stay. They were lovely, always smiling, and went out of their way to help with anything we needed. We had a hard time leaving and will definitely return. Jendela di Bali villa felt like paradise, full of greenery and flowers. The rooms were airy and comfortable, with lovely decor throughout. The pool was a little cool, but refreshing on a hot day with a beer. You don’t even need to go out for meals, since everything can be cooked and served at the villa. We enjoyed all the food, especially the fresh fruit at breakfast, and the rice pudding is a must try. Sending love from Adelaide! Julie, Alicia and Jess

The setting is absolutely gorgeous, and the hospitality and value for money made this one of our best experiences. The staff are incredibly friendly and sweet, and you get the whole estate to yourself. It’s in a small, quiet village about 45 minutes from central Ubud. A little secluded, but arranging a ride through the villa staff is easy.

We keep coming back for Dayu’s cooking, especially our favourite, Ayam Tuturuga. Other places may look fancier, but they don’t have Dayu and her sister. Their warmth makes it feel like coming home and being welcomed by a lovely aunt. JdB is a charming place to rest and get away from the everyday rush. We can’t wait to visit again!

If you’re after a peaceful, quiet retreat, this villa is perfect. It has two villas, separate family and TV/office rooms, a huge tropical garden, and a swimming pool.
