Murex Manado Dive Resort

I’ve booked with them twice and have been really happy both times. The staff, food, dive guides and service were all top notch, and people remembering your name makes you feel special. I can’t recommend the place enough, and I’d gladly return.

We had a personal guide, David, with us for every reef exploration, and he was professional, courteous and friendly. Murex should be proud to have him on the team. The staff as a whole were wonderful, happy, helpful, and always there when we needed something. The food was fantastic too, with international buffet meals at breakfast, lunch, snack time and dinner. The choices changed every day, and it was all delicious. This is an extraordinary resort with beautiful surroundings and the best service we’ve experienced anywhere. Murex is easily among the best resorts we’ve stayed at.

The rooms were nicely furnished and comfortable, and the food was varied, freshly made, and served with care. We spent three nights at Murex Manado, and from the moment we arrived the warm, attentive staff made a strong impression. They used our names and took a real interest in guests, with little conversations that made the stay feel personal. We dove at the house reef and in Bunaken Marine Park. Both trips were lovely and well organized, with careful attention to detail and safety underwater. It was a very enjoyable visit, and we’d be glad to come back. Many thanks to the whole team, we can wholeheartedly recommend it.

If you’re looking for privacy, this private resort may suit you. Locals can pay IDR 75K to use the swimming pool and kayak.
