Capital O 1430 Hotel Ratna Syariah

This hotel is very old and in terrible shape. There were ants, mosquitoes, and flies everywhere, and the furniture was worn and far too old. The staff weren't helpful. They gave me the wrong password twice, so I had to walk to reception three times before getting the right one.

The men who gave us the room hid behind the desk and offered no information. They could use some help with how they interact with guests. We didn't choose this place ourselves, it was included in a paid tour. Please be careful when booking tours: if the details aren't fully clear and they require payment in advance, don't go. I don't know whether they keep the disgusting rooms for the tourist mafia, but that's what ours felt like. It seemed 40 years old, with an odd lock, dirty stains, and dated furniture. We were put at the back, and it looked nothing like the advertised photos. The front of the hotel looks good, but check the back hallways too. It's in the center, which gives you the feel of the whole area.

We stayed just one night to rest before continuing our trip to Bali. It was very clean and the service was good, with really helpful staff. I left one of my belongings behind, and they packed it up and sent it right away. There's good, affordable food nearby, too.

The room was okay and clean enough, with an air conditioner that worked fine. The shower room was clean, and there was hot water. I didn't order breakfast. Overall, it was fine for the price, though towels should be included. For an OYO reservation, there was no towel unless you paid an extra 20,000, which was a hassle. My window was shut and had no good view of the park. Maybe another room would have a better view; the twin-bed room had a good one. The hallway to my room was dark and a bit spooky. Wi-Fi didn't work on my phone. The TV worked, but it was old.
