Mad Monkey Nusa Lembongan

The sauna and ice bath were a fantastic bonus, and the food was hands down the best hostel food I've ever had. Compliments to the chefs, especially Nyoman, who was a legend, and Kevin was the best bartender. The reps Jordan and Dery did an amazing job helping everyone feel welcome and included from day one. Incredible hostel, nice location, great facilities, and even better people. Highly recommend!

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay, especially thanks to the absolutely fantastic staff. We'd definitely stay again. If we could change one thing, we'd add more variety to the music selection. Drum and Bass would bring the energy up, and quite a few other guests said they'd like that too. Food for thought.

I had a really good time at Mad Monkey, and the staff were lovely. Gladys was amazing and clearly cares about guests. She helped with everything I needed and went above and beyond. The hostel also offers activities like snorkelling and a day trip to nusa penida, which I recommend. Randy and Derry were good reps who made sure people felt included and socialised. I'd definitely stay again.

We had a decent stay at Mad Monkey Hostel. The prices were fair, and our private room was good value. It was handy to rent scooters at the hostel, and the activity program was solid enough for meeting people and having a good time, though nothing extraordinary. The room was surprisingly dim. It was so hard to see in the mirror that shaving was difficult, and the lighting should be improved. One receptionist also left a bad impression: she seemed unfriendly and insisted we mention her by name in a positive review before giving the promised discount. That felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. The manager, on the other hand, was kind and helpful, which balanced things out a bit.
