The room and bathroom looked much more modern in person than in the photos, and the beachfront view from outside the room was nice. The location is handy, with lots of restaurants nearby, close to Amed’s famous sunset spot and only a few minutes from plenty of dive sites. Staff were super nice and helpful. Breakfast was basic, though it did include some fruit. The one drawback was the music from the sunset restaurants being quite loud, but it barely mattered since we were always tired after diving.

The location is fantastic for snorkeling, with what seemed to be the bay’s best coral reef. The rooms and bathrooms could have been cleaner.

We loved this place and came back for a second stay. Polos, the manager, is so kind and helpful. He sorted scooter hire and laundry, helped us make plans, and gave us great advice. We stayed in the garden bungalows and loved having the little outdoor seating spot for a cold drink and planning the day. Breakfast was delicious, especially the veggie omelets. You can swim straight out from the hotel at Jemulek Bay, where there’s beautiful coral and lots of fish. Many good restaurants and sunset views over Mount Agung are just a short walk away. We recommend green leaf Cafe, jolly best view and amed sea view restaurant.

A real hidden gem. The owner is super friendly, the rooms and breakfast are great, and the house reef is right outside the hotel door. You can rent diving gear and a guide here too. If you’re taking the ferry to The Gillis, the boat leaves just in front of the hotel.
