A great spot for freediving, with easy access to snorkeling, and the facilities are nice. Staff were friendly too. My one complaint was the roosters and dogs nearby making lots of noise at night. The whole town seems to have a bit of a rooster problem.

The hotel is cozy, clean, and in a really convenient location. Jemeluk Beach is right across the street, with its little coral reef accessible straight from shore. I'd definitely recommend it.

The relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff were lovely, and I really enjoyed the two-day freediving course. As a place to stay, though, there are a few things to improve. Roosters wander around and wake you early, sometimes crowing all day and spoiling the peace. The rooms didn't have proper blankets, so I was very cold. A gecko in my bungalow was impossible to find and woke me up at night, and the bathroom fixtures were old and not well maintained. If you're not there to freedive, with all the amenities for that, you might not feel as comfortable.
