I kept extending my stay because the views from this hostel right on the beach were so lovely. It really felt like a dream place for me. The party nights were enjoyable and not too loud, though I needed some quiet time to reflect, so I stayed away from them. I liked having a peaceful place to return to whenever I wanted. I paid only $6 a night for a clean shared dorm with everything I needed, plus breakfast, free water refills, and great value. Breakfast was a banana or pineapple pancake with coffee or tea. Snorkeling gear is also available to rent for 45,000 IDR a day, from morning until 7 pm, or 25,000 IDR without fins. I got my gear free from someone I met at the hostel who had a spare, but renting it seems well worth the price if you don't have your own. Great atmosphere, a beautiful location, and clean, budget-friendly rooms. Take a walk along the beach too!

I loved starting the day with breakfast by the water, it felt so peaceful. The hostel is right on the beach, with tables and sunbeds for guests, and you can snorkel straight out to corals, colorful fish, and sea turtles. In the evening, you can watch the sunset behind Mount Agung. The staff are friendly, and the rooms are simple and clean.

The beachside location is fantastic, and there was no road noise at all. The staff were really nice and helpful, and we saw turtles right from the beach using the good snorkeling gear. Our room was large, with a big spring mattress bed, though both the room and bathroom had a humidity problem. The hot shower was great, and the restaurant was really good. Loved it!

We had the best live gig in Amed at Barracuda, a local bar. The band was world class, and the guitarist could give Hendrix a run for his money. The staff were super friendly, and the alcohol and cocktail prices were very low.

The food was outstanding, especially the grilled meat, and there's a great menu at a lovely beachside location. The chairs and such could use an upgrade. It took a little while for our food to come out, though that's pretty common.
