Putu, the general manager, and her staff took great care of us during our two weeks here in July 2020. Everyone was kind and helpful. It’s a peaceful spot with a well maintained garden and trees. The bungalow was lovely, with a comfortable bed, mosquito net, and a small kitchen with the basics for cooking and a fridge with a freezer. Outside, there’s a patio with a table, chairs, and a bed where you can relax after snorkeling or exploring. A great place with lovely people. Thank you.

We’d planned to stay five nights after reading all the positive reviews, but left after one. We had a king room in the main house. The room was okay, though the bed needed new white sheets and the bathroom smelled musty. The bigger issue was the noise and the neighbors burning a lot of garbage. Some of the noise wasn’t the guesthouse’s fault, like the many roosters and neighbors playing loud music. But staff were clattering dishes and talking loudly in the shared kitchen and common room outside our room around 7 a.m. I wouldn’t recommend it if you want a peaceful place to stay.

We spent a month and a half in these lovely cottages and had a great time. They were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The beach is just a three-minute walk away, with a shop, fruit stand, and lots of restaurants for every taste within walking distance. The staff deserve special thanks. They were very responsive and always ready to help, and they made delicious breakfasts.

The garden is beautiful, the location is good, and the staff are very friendly. One shower head leaked quite a lot, and the bathrooms are old and could use an update. Still, considering how good everything else was, it felt like a minor luxury complaint.

Gede and the team are lovely, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms look gorgeous with their color themes, and the garden view from the balcony is so pretty. Kirana Homestay is beautiful.
