Candra Cottage

Putu, Priscilla, and their daughter Bulan made this stay unforgettable. Putu even went out of his way to help with an issue I had with my scooter, which I really appreciated. The villa was spotless and the service was top-notch. And that sunset over the paddy fields was like living in a painting. This place went beyond what I expected, and the hospitality has set the bar high. If you’re visiting Munduk, I’d absolutely stay here.

We had room # 1, which I thought was the best one, and I’d happily stay again. It was large and airy with a comfortable bed, and breakfast was included. We could also rent a scooter at Candra Cottage for a good rate. Priscila offers meals from a set menu and sells ice cold beer, which was so convenient. The wraparound balcony and five star views were why we picked this place for seven nights in North Bali. Sunsets from the deck were amazing, and at sunrise the sky turned pink over the mountains behind us. Priscila and Putu were lovely and quick to respond, and helped us arrange transport when we left for East Java. I’d recommend it if you want a relaxing break from Bali’s busier areas.

Pricilla and her family were such good hosts, and the ricefields made the setting feel perfect. Our room was clean and spacious, and the food was delicious. They gave us privacy but were there as soon as we needed anything. We also tried the wedding costume and make-up photos, and were impressed by Pricilla's beauty-studio and how professional she was. You made our honeymoon perfect, thank you so much!

The views were unsurpassed, and breakfast felt like five star Indonesian fare with all the trimmings. Our room was simple and clean, with a big, comfy bed. Prescilla and her small family welcomed us with such warm smiles that it felt like we were part of the family. They had recommendations ready whenever we needed them. This whole experience has made me a returning guest. Thank you for everything ❤️😊
