I had a really bad experience here. The woman I think was the owner asked us to pay directly when we arrived, but didn’t give us all the right change. When we asked for the rest, she was haughty with us. There was no Wi-Fi, and nobody reminded us that breakfast was included. When we asked for a taxi, she tried to take advantage of us by quoting a very high price. The room was dirty too, with cockroaches in the bathroom and stains on the sheets.

The scooter became the source of a really stressful argument. We paid 70K for 24 hours and agreed I could use it straight away, so I filled it up and rode briefly to a restaurant. The next morning, they came to our door urging us to extend our stay. We declined because things already felt uncomfortable, and then they abruptly said we could no longer use the scooter. When we asked for our money back, she shouted, cursed us with the gods, and chased us away. It was unpleasant and unprofessional. We’d arrived late and spent about an hour trying to find the hotel because nobody answered the phone. On arrival, the staff were friendly, but kept asking what we were doing in Bali. A simple rental ended up being an expensive, frustrating experience, and what began as a warm welcome finished in a bad argument.

The courtyard has a lovely vibe, and the rooms are good for the price. My friend and I shared one, which made it really affordable. The local family who owns the place is so kind, and their daughters are sweet. I’d come back just to support them ☺️ There wasn’t hot water, but I’ve only had it a few times in hostels around Asia, so that feels completely normal at this price 😁👌🏼

We stayed three nights and would definitely recommend this place. It’s right in the center, yet the room was very quiet, and the beach is just a minute away. The Owner And his wife are a really nice couple. They make sure you’re comfortable, with a very clean, quiet room and breakfast.
