The rooftop bar had a lovely view from the balcony and decent prices, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had fun during our one-night stay. The room was just so-so, but it was cheap, so you get what you pay for. Also, they have a cute cat, hahaha.

The rooftop view is beautiful, and I’m grateful to the young staff, especially one boy who helped make things manageable. Beyond that, my stay was very disappointing. The room was filthy, including the walls and curtains, and I had to ask twice for new pillows. The first two nights I had none; the third set was finally okay to sleep on. The kitchenette listed on the booking site was just a leaking sink outside, the gas was unplugged, and the kitchen was unclean enough that I wouldn’t trust the food there. The male manager tried to add 170k per night for air conditioning, then removed the charge when I declined. When I got upset, he trash-talked me, said he didn’t care, and told me I could go somewhere else. I avoided speaking with him for the rest of the stay because he was so rude and any interaction felt uncomfortable. There were loud local kids running around, and construction next door every day. It’s also a bit far from snorkeling without a bike. Be prepared for these problems and don’t let them scam you.

I spent six nights in the women’s dorm after booking directly on WhatsApp, and it was good value. There were six single beds, with two in a loft rather than bunks, which I liked. I also got laundry done, rented a scooter, and arranged an airport transfer, all for very fair prices. The rooftop restaurant was a nice spot to hang out. My only issue was the shower’s weak water pressure. For the price, I think it was a great place to stay.

We stayed for quite a while and had a really good experience. The place is run by a super nice, friendly family, and they offer laundry and shuttle service at a very good price. Our room was clean, had AC and a hot shower, and there was coffee in the mornings. The rooftop is amazing, and we were lucky to get a room with a great view of the hills. If you stay here, make sure to book a room with a view, it’s beautiful. I recommend it.
