Tanaya Homestay

The roof has a spectacular sunset view, and breakfast was included and delicious. My room was clean and had a great hot shower. Nyoman and Juliane were lovely hosts, and Nyoman was my taxi driver as well as a great person to talk with. Getting around Amed took some planning, since there's no Grab or Gojek available. I had to rent a motorbike, as some places were too far to walk. I really enjoyed my stay.

The room has an amazing view, and the homestay is in a perfect location. Everyone was warm, helpful and always available, and the breakfast was very good. They cleaned the room every day too. The best value for money in Amed, highly, highly recommended!

Everyone I met was so happy, which made the stay really enjoyable. Juliane was lovely, and Nyoman drove us to and from Amed and around the area. He was the best driver I had, making sure every ride was comfortable and safe. In the newer rooms, the value was fantastic: spacious rooms, a comfortable bed, a well-equipped shower and very good AC in the summer heat. The food at Melon Cafe was amazing, and the view of Agung was amazing too. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Amed, and I'll definitely come back.

The little homestay is clean, comfortable and extremely good value, with breakfast included at the cafe out front. The staff are all kind and helpful. I stayed in a front room looking onto the courtyard, and it was fine, with not much road noise. Next time I'd ask for a room at the back, facing the fields. The real highlight was meeting Juliani. She's such a generous, kind person, full of energy and working hard to make sure guests are happy and cared for. She helped arrange transport and a visit to nearby attractions, and even took me on her scooter to the waterfront so I wouldn't have to walk in the heat. It wasn't far, but too hot to comfortably walk.
