It has a homey feel, and that's nice, but the hospitality could be better. The air conditioning wasn't working, so they gave us a fan, which was a shame. The hot water was out too, and we had to shower cold.

The staff were friendly, and the rooms were nice. A really great place to stay :)

The location is a real plus for visitors to Rantepao. It's close to the center and a big square, so finding food is easy. The hotel is pleasant, clean, comfortable, and well kept. It has only 12 rooms, with different prices and amenities. My twin room, listed at 470,000 Rupiah on Airy, was very roomy and could fit 3-4 people. It had a TV, a large wardrobe, a water heater, welcome snacks from Airy, hot water, and air conditioning. The bed was comfortable, the cable TV had plenty of channels, and the bathroom was spacious, with toiletries and a hot shower. Breakfast tasted good, though it wasn't anything special. There are some drawbacks. The parking area is very tight, fitting only a few motorcycles and two cars without them blocking each other. Others have to park along the narrow road. The restaurant seats just 7-10 people, so the rest of the guests can use chairs in the lobby. The bathroom has no tub or bucket for collecting water from the lower faucet, and some walls are peeling, which makes it seem poorly maintained. The transparent door should be replaced with a more solid one. The AC barely seemed to work during the day and may be underpowered. Also, the bedroom window looks straight onto a resident's house, so there's little privacy with the curtains open.

A clean, nice room that worked well for a stopover. You can book it from 6 am to 8 pm.
