The rooms were overpriced and not really clean, and the hotel was practically empty. They said only deluxe rooms were available, and it seemed like the place might be about to close. The spa is gone, and the pool sits beside a smelly river. There were also two birds in small cages in the yard. A cockatoo kept trying to get free of its chain, while a bird of prey seemed depressed. Both made sad noises all day. Don't go there!

The breakfast was very good, and the hotel has a cozy atmosphere with a view of the river behind it. It’s easy to find in central Rantepao, and the facilities and in-room amenities are complete. I booked directly at the hotel one day before check-in because the number listed on Google Maps was no longer active. The clerk gave me a discount, and the service was quite friendly. One thing to look at again is the rusty thermos in the room, since it can’t be used anymore. Recommended 👍🏻

The hotel is clean, and breakfast comes in a large portion. It’s a decent place right in the heart of Rantepao, with easy access to Toraja’s tourist sites, including Kete Kesu and Londa. The decor is very classic, though, and you can tell the hotel has been around for a long time.

It’s a quiet place to sleep, with a cozy room and either a fan or AC. The hotel has two floors and a beautiful garden on the first floor near the entrance, plus a swimming pool by the river. Breakfast has a great menu. The toiletries are complete, and the room has two bottles of water, hot water, a TV, and a safe deposit box. At night, you can relax in the restaurant or lobby. The location is right in the heart of Rantepao, so you can walk everywhere. It’s five minutes to souvenir shops and ten minutes to the bus stop and nearby cafés.
