Antika Hotel

We chose Antika hotel and were glad we did. The room and bathroom were clean, and the aircon, refrigerator, shower, toilet, and basin all worked well. The dining room’s authentic Chinese architecture is lovely. It’s also easy to walk to many of Rembang’s famous food spots, including sate serepeh, nasi gandul, RM. Hien, RM. Andri, and toko lumba-lumba, without crossing the busy main road with all its buses and trucks. We’d stay at Antika hotel again when we come to Rembang. Keep up the good work maintaining it.

For 310.000, I’d suggest the superior room. It’s wide and spacious, with little to complain about. The hotel is open 24 hours. It’s a good value budget stay, clean and roomy, with an old China house interior given a modern touch. It’s in the city center with easy road access.

The breakfast was quite nice, and the place has a distinctive Chinese-style look. Each room has its own toilet and television. We stayed one night, and liked being close to restaurants, warung, cafes, and a clinic. The flies were a nuisance, though, following us into both the room and the dining area.

The breakfast surprised me, my nasi goreng teri and mangus smoked fish were both tasty. This is one of the better affordable hotels in Rembang, even though I gave it 3 stars. It’s clean, but facilities are limited. The room is small and clean, with a modern bathroom that works. Wifi is available but slow, and there’s a handy fridge with soft drinks in the lobby.
