The beach was clean and the sand was nice for kids to play on, and the resort itself looks pleasant. Just know that the approach includes a muddy dirt road, and the place is before the fifth bridge. On weekends, you need to reserve a gazebo so it doesn't get too crowded. The service felt rather cold, with no smiles from the staff, especially the person in charge. I might think twice before coming back, though it's still an okay place to visit.

We didn't feel comfortable there and checked out right away. There's little around in the way of transport, food, or things to do, and it's a long way from the city center, so I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're traveling to Batam. We asked for a refund for the rooms we'd paid for, but they didn't respond. Very unprofessional, and the posted photos aren't something to rely on.

For a break from the city, this was a good experience for a reasonable price. The resort is at Fifth Bridge of Barelang, about a 40-minute drive from the city, so it's not for anyone looking to shop. There's a seafood restaurant and plenty of watersports, though those cost extra. Our villa-style room was clean enough but not luxurious, and the living room AC wasn't working. Staff said the machine hadn't been installed yet. The staff were fairly friendly, but they're local workers, so don't expect hotel-style service. Before 7pm they asked if we wanted to order dinner. Later the staff leave, with security staying on guard, so there isn't 24-hour front office service.

This was a mess from the start. I tried booking 8 rooms through Agoda, and the first booking was cancelled because they said I hadn't replied to an email. That cost me over SGD35+ in debit card fees. I booked again after seeing rooms still listed as available, and kept an eye out for messages. They then said only 4 rooms were left and that the other 4 would be moved to a nearby resort. I agreed, but a week later they cancelled the whole booking without any explanation or communication. I lost the card fees again, and they started the cancellation less than 6 days before our check-in, on a busy weekend with a Monday holiday. GOOD JOB! Unprofessional. I presume the back office is terrible. I'll warn others about this place for sure. If there are no rooms, why list vacancies on Agoda and other booking platforms?
