The sunset over the rice fields is lovely, and the hotel works well for a transit stop or a short visit. There’s a school right next door, though, so it can be noisy and doesn’t feel very private. Cleanliness also needs some improvement.

We left after only 1.5 hours and went to another hotel. The road was VERY noisy, and the blankets were VERY thin. When we checked in, we spent over an hour waiting for someone to fix the warm water boilers in both rooms. They eventually gave up and asked us to move, but first they had to check whether the boilers in the other rooms worked. Then the owner, not the staff, caused trouble and demanded 2/3 of the price. Would not recommend.

The mountain and rice field views are stunning, especially in the morning when the smoke isn't drifting down. The food wasn't very good, and the place is remote, but you can arrange a pickup bus to and from the airport or around the city. It's worth a try if you're after a quiet, cool and beautiful spot in the hills at a reasonable price.

The view alone makes staying here worthwhile, and the staff were friendly the whole time. The rooms and bathroom weren't very clean, the bedding had spots, and the property felt a bit run down and poorly maintained. It's tucked away in a fairly quiet spot. Not great, but good for Ruteng.

The staff were nice, and the mountain and rice field views are amazing. A young trainee walked with us to Golo Curu in the morning, which was wonderful. I did leave a T-shirt behind, blue with a black cat!
