The owner was so friendly. He arranged a scooter for us for a day and a TukTuk ride to Iboih at a good price, and left some freebies in our room. The rooms were great and clean, and this was an amazing value stay in Sabang. I’d definitely book again if I return.

Pondok Simpang Tiga is my pick for the best place to stay on the island. I looked at several other accommodations, and this one had the most spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and effective air conditioning. Sleeping without AC at night is really hard. Everything was clean, and the beach is only a very short walk away. The staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was tasty Indonesian style food delivered to the room whenever we wanted, and they have western toilets. Nothing to complain about.

Our ferry was cancelled, so we arrived without a booking, but they still found us a really clean, nice room with A/C. We had to get up at 5.30 and they still provided breakfast. The neighborhood felt peaceful and safe, the Wi-Fi was fast, and it was excellent value for money. Amazing hospitality. Highly recommend!

A very good place with a local feel, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The family rooms are spacious, nice, and clean. Sumur Tiga Beach is 150 m away. It’s also close to Freddies and Casanemo, two resorts where European women can swim and sunbathe in bikinis. Those are the only two places on the island where you can get beer and other alcohol.

The room was clean and tidy, the staff were friendly, and the price stayed cheap even during holiday season. It’s near Sumur Tiga Beach, and getting here from Balohan port takes 20 minutes. A very recommended place to stay when visiting Sabang.
