Le Pirate Island

That mountain hike at sunset, with a bottle of wine, was such a lovely evening. The island has a really easygoing feel, and snorkeling was amazing. We stayed right by the beach, falling asleep to the ocean, which felt like a dream. The staff were so nice, and the food was much better than I expected given how remote the island is. Everything felt simple and easy, and it was a peaceful, beautiful place to switch off. One of my favourite places in Indonesia. Can’t wait to come back, and I’d recommend it for a relaxed island escape 🤍

The sunsets were breathtaking, and the food was delicious. We felt really comfortable here, with our accommodation right by the ocean. There’s a house reef with all sorts of fish, baby sharks, and moray eels. The resort is the only thing on the island, so it’s a great place to unwind. We had a fantastic stay!

The room was a dream, really clean and comfortable, with lovely sheets and towels. Food was excellent and there was plenty of it. Getting ingredients to such a remote island must be difficult, and they seem very well organized. This is a beautiful spot for a proper rest. The sea and marine life are incredible, and the whole place feels set up for relaxation. The staff were attentive and friendly, always smiling and greeting us when we passed. They handle everything needed around the island, and were always happy to help. Highly recommended, we’ll be back!

We loved the evenings here, with movie nights under the stars, popcorn, and a bonfire while someone from the amazing team played guitar. The drinks were super tasty, and the food was good for what’s possible on such a remote island. Meals are served at set times, but that didn’t bother us since there isn’t much else to do anyway. The snorkeling was a dream, with lots of different marine life, including reef sharks that came close to shore. We also had a wonderful canoe trip around the island. The beach was amazing, with white sand and more interesting shells than I’d ever seen. We stayed two nights and wished we’d had another. The first-row view from the beach huts was incredible, and it was cool hearing the water so close as we slept. It gets quite hot at night because there’s no AC, so I think two or three nights is manageable. Just don’t expect a five-star hotel, it’s a really cool glamping place. Paradise! We didn’t expect it to be this beautiful. We’ll recommend it to family and friends, and hope we can come back one day. Thank you.
