Bali Harmony Villa

For quieter evenings and mornings in Ubud, this is a lovely choice. It's just outside town, beside local rice fields, but close enough to walk towards restaurants, yoga and shops. The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind, especially the manager, who went out of their way to help. The food was delicious too. Highly recommend.

The rice field view is really good and the villa itself is beautiful. But the entrance is narrow, so large cars can't get through. There were lots of ants and snails around the villa, and money was stolen from inside ours.

The gardens, pool, and sunrise and sunset views made this feel like paradise, and my children, aged 9 and 11, loved their week here. I stayed at Bali Harmony Villas for a month and a half, and felt at home and safe from the moment I arrived. The place is pristine clean, with rice paddies all around. Dragonflies and geckos are part of the setting, which I enjoyed. The houses have typical Balinese architecture. The staff are wonderfully helpful and make amazing pancakes for breakfast. Whatever you need, they'll try to make happen, and Michael answers any questions within 24 hours, wherever he is. I can highly recommend a stay, though you'll probably wish you didn't have to leave.

Breakfast by the pool each morning, looking out over the rice terraces, was a joy. The cooked food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful at any hour. They shared useful local tips and even helped me order food to the villa when my phone wasn't working. My villa was tastefully furnished, comfortable and spacious, with a good-sized bathroom. It was cleaned daily, and the ceiling fan helped with the tropical heat. The view over the rice paddy and the peaceful little village nearby are beautiful. I had a wonderfully relaxing stay and highly recommend it.
