We booked the one-bedroom villa directly for four nights at AUD$625 total, or Aud$156 a night, with breakfast included. The breakfast choices were delicious, and the staff were really friendly. From the main road it’s a short walk, though they also run a very efficient “golf cart” service. The private pool’s hot water system wasn’t heating the water, so they offered us a complimentary in-room massage each as compensation, which felt reasonable. There’s also a free rice paddy walking tour twice a week.

We loved the quiet setting outside Ubud, surrounded by beautiful rice fields. It meant a short drive into town, but we actually liked having somewhere peaceful to come back to. The property was clean and well maintained, and the breakfast was delicious. Having it served beside our private pool was a special highlight. The staff were all incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. On our last day they surprised us with a fresh young coconut from a tree they’d just cut down. We’d happily return. Our stay at Villa Santun was peaceful and private, and the villa was spotless with a beautiful design. The staff were wonderfully kind and helpful, even fitting in our last-minute extension and answering every question with a smile. A real hidden gem in Bali, highly recommend!

It was quiet here, surrounded by nature, but central Ubud was still only a short ride away. The villa was clean, spacious, impressive, and nicely designed, with its own pool. The staff made the stay from arrival feel welcoming and professional, with service right on point. I’d come back.

This is my second visit to villa santun, and I’m still amazed by the hospitality. The whole place has such a great vibe, and they make you feel comfortable and at home. It’s a hidden gem, and the staff are always there when you need them. Honestly, they deserve a payrise. I might cry a little when I head home because I’m going to miss it all.
