Poor value for the price. The rooms were dirty and didn't look like the pictures, there were lots of animals, and a noisy temple was across the street. Breakfast portions were small and it wasn't very tasty. One day I even found a metal nail in the food.

The room was damp enough to leave the beds wet, and the air-conditioning was broken and leaking constantly. The accommodation looked worn, neglected, and like it was coming apart. The pool was clean and okay, at least. Breakfast was awful, even the stray dogs wouldn't eat it, so I skipped it for the rest of my stay. Afternoon tea was mentioned, but I never got any. The directions sent me to the wrong hotel, and it took ten minutes on the phone before they worked that out. I'd spent 17 days travelling around Bali, and this was the worst place I stayed. Please don't book here.

For five nights in the villa with my partner, we paid 3,400,000 IDR on promotion, without breakfast. After trying several places around Bali, I thought that was a lot for this standard, and the service didn't justify it. We weren't given the included afternoon tea, and when problems came up, staff made excuses instead of offering solutions. That's what I expect to pay for in a hospitality business at this level. There were ants, dirt patches, and marks around the unit, as if it hadn't been used in a while. The pool looked abandoned and long uncleaned. Bugs or geckos had left marks across the dirty bedsheet and pillows. The mosquito net over the bed was hanging loose. The front door and bathroom door both took a struggle to open, the bathroom tap was filthy and broken, and rain left a puddle in the bathroom. The bathtub was dirty, so we wouldn't use it. These things could be fixed with inspections, attention, and staff training. As it was, the place didn't feel like a luxury villa, and I can't recommend it.

We loved how close this place felt to nature, while still being only a 15 minute walk from Ubud centre. It was quiet and tucked away, and our shared pool was lovely, especially since only one other villa shared it with us. Breakfast came each day to the outdoor dining room, which was a nice touch. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and had a really comfortable bed. It stayed cool with the air-conditioning. The water wasn't very hot, but in that warm weather we were happy to cool off. Bug spray was provided and useful, and the bed net helped too. Everyone on staff was kind and helpful. We arrived very late and were warmly welcomed and shown to the room. This was our first stop on our Bali trip, and it was a perfect place to start.
