Villa Sardegna Ubud

We ended up leaving earlier than planned. The construction noise, privacy problems, maintenance issues, and everyday inconveniences made the stay so bad that I can’t recommend this villa. Sadly, it was the worst one we’ve stayed at in Bali. There’s an active construction site right next door, with drilling and shouting all day. Our baby kept waking up, so resting was impossible. Workers could look directly into the villa, including the bedroom and pool, and my wife felt uncomfortable and unsafe swimming or relaxing there. The location also took much longer to reach than the map suggested: the road was always busy, and driving to Ubud center took at least 30 minutes each way, sometimes more. Several small things inside were broken or missing. The tissue holder fell apart in my hands, there was no clothes drying rack or outdoor shower, and there was no general waste bin, only separate bins for paper and organic rubbish, which made daily waste awkward to manage. On arrival, the host sent the wrong access code, so we waited outside in the heat for half an hour until someone came to help. There were a few good points: it was clean and nicely decorated, with a beautiful garden and clean pool. The rooms and toilets seemed well maintained, and the property management assistant replied quite quickly and tried to help when we had problems.
