The view is really nice, and it’s a comfortable, classy place. Staff hospitality was just so-so. The drink was good, but it had a strange aftertaste I didn’t like. The wagyu steak was tasty and juicy, though they cooked it well done instead of the medium rare I requested. That left it chewy and not very tender. I’d eat there again if I’m craving tasty steak.
The restaurant had great food and a nice atmosphere with a good vibe. The room was only average, though it met my needs and was far from excellent. The bathroom cleanliness needs a lot of improvement. There’s no elevator, so carrying my things up to the room took a lot of effort. I was first given a room without windows, but the staff managed to move me to one that had a window. It was a nice experience and I may return sometime, but I’ll come prepared.
Some of the dishes taste good, and the interior is pretty nice, but the servings are small. The air circulation could be better to keep cooking smells from the kitchen down. The waiter's menu explanations didn’t match the food that arrived, and that needs to be fixed soon. Guests need a clear idea of what to expect, or they’ll be disappointed and think twice about coming back.
The room was okay. I chose this place because the photos showed a lounge or cafe area where we could work and get things done. The cafe closes too early for me, at 9pm, but they let us use the space anyway. It was peaceful and breezy, away from the highway.
On my first visit, about two weeks after the grand opening, I thought the food quality was 8/10, and the prices were low. The drinks came in plastic cups rather than glassware, which seemed odd for such a fancy restaurant. Several months later, I brought family and guests for dinner, and that visit was a disaster. When the waitress brought the menu, I asked if anything was unavailable. She said everything was available, then left us to write our order. Usually, a waitress would wait and take the order. Five minutes after we handed it over, she returned to say several items weren’t available and suggested substitutions. I asked again if anything else was unavailable, and she said it was only what she’d just mentioned, so we changed the order. A little later, she came back to say that 50% of our order wasn’t available. I was disappointed with the service. The guests should be told about unavailable dishes earlier. The property looks luxurious and fancy inside and out, but the service felt like a roadside stall. It was a disaster, so we canceled dinner and I wasn’t able to entertain our guests.
